Day 14 - Astoria, Seaside

A launcher thingie is driven into the top-secret shroud that conceals launcher thingies.

At the Astoria Memorial to souls lost at sea, a sad flag at half mast marks this week's tragedy of the bombings at the Boston Marathon.

Inside the ancient city walls, a pretty town stretches up the hill.

...... as opposed to Alaska tame salmon .....

Great old caddie - yup - licensed to run.

Hundreds of flying disk-shaped objects were spotted over Astoria this afternoon. One of them landed here. No-one knows why.

California or bust - now if only the car would start.

Watchin' yer haid is the least of yer worries.

BP's other spill.

Today's wanderings yield yet another playground for the abstraction game.

This giant sewing machine was used to stitch together the Hindenburg. Really.

Pretty in orange.

My new photographic perspective: "food's eye view".

Seaside after the feast at Yummy - and yes, it was.
